A new research article by Emma Allingham, Birgitta Burger & Clemens Wöllner has been published in the Journal of New Music Research. "Motor performance in violin bowing" supports the importance of attentional focus in motor activities - such as playing an instrument. The paper also discusses implications for motor performance theory and pedagogy.
