Research focus
Michelle Outram is interested in how an understanding of the experience of moving slowly can inform empirical whole-body movement research. She is investigating how moving at different speeds influences attentional states as well as time- and space-perception. She is working with dancers and untrained participants using behavioural, neurophysiological (mobile EEG) and qualitative methods.
